Here's what to expect on a Sunday visit to First United Methodist Church.

Sunday street parking is available at metered spaces on Park Avenue East and on the square by the gazebo, as well as in the city lot just east of the church.  There is no charge at parking meters on Sunday.  For the 10:45 service we suggest that you park on the street near the square and enter through the North Diamond Street doors (the main doors).  For the 8:30 service, park on Park Avenue East or in the city lot and enter the Park Avenue East doors. If you visit us during the week we have 10 free spots reserved in the city lot at the corner of Adams & Third Street.

Kids are welcome at both our worship gatherings.  At 10:45 our kids sing and pray with us, then head to the children's room for junior worship with our trained and screened leaders.  A nursery is available for parents with small children.

At our worship gatherings we sing, pray, read scripture, enjoy music, and listen to a teaching from our pastor. We worship at 8:30 and 10:45, with announcements beginning 5 minutes prior to the start time.  The 8:30 chapel service is a smaller, more intimate gathering - for this service, we suggest you enter at the north-east door facing Park Avenue North.  At 10:45 we worship in our beautiful historic sanctuary with music from our choir.  For the 10:45 service we suggest that you park near the square and enter at the main doors facing North Diamond Street.

We look forward to meeting you!  After our 8:30 gathering join us to chat or for a Bible study at 9:30.  Following the 10:45 service come to the mission cafe directly below the sanctuary for coffee and snacks.
